F.T. Silfies, Inc. is the largest hauler of dry bulk cement (approx. 90% of revenue) in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. Silfies also hauls other dry bulk commodities, as well as bag cement, brick, block and other construction products. Gensimore Trucking, Inc.
Quantum Equity Partners, LLC purchased the assets of Gensimore Trucking, Inc. as an add-on acquisition to F.T. Silfies, Inc. Gensimore Trucking was a family owned dry bulk carrier since 1922 located in State College, PA.  The acquisition allows F.T. Silfies, Inc. to expand its aggregate hauling capabilities to include lime, pebble lime, glass stone and flyash. The acquisition added 50 tractors and 97 trailers to Silfies’ current fleet.

Price Trucking, Inc.
Quantum Equity Partners, LLC purchased Price Trucking, Inc. as a sister company to F.T. Silfies, Inc. Price Trucking was a family owned dry bulk carrier located in Aberdeen, MD. The acquisition allows the F.T. Silfies network to expand its aggregate hauling capabilities further into Maryland. The acquisition will add 41 tractors and 58 trailers to Silfies’ current fleet.
